Project Summary:

McGee Engineering designed a permanent concrete box culvert to replace a failing steel culvert in 2005 near Coos Bay, Oregon. The structure takes advantage of the nearby bedrock for foundation support. During the first winter, the stream restored itself through in the box culvert to provide natural fish habitat. McGee Engineering continues to provide routine inspections of this structure for the owner.
